About Asia.Travel

Asia.Travel covers six regions and every country and travel destination in Asia, from the planning practicalities to individual attractions, hotels, restaurants and events. Everything sits inside a single destination hierarchy, so a listing always knows which neighbourhood, city, country and region it belongs to — and nearby content, maps and related pages follow from that automatically.

Asia.Travel is an independent travel information platform. It is not an official government, immigration, embassy, tourism-board, airline or airport website unless expressly stated otherwise.

• Every listing says whether an editor has verified it. Until one has, the page says so.
• Time-sensitive information links to the official source it came from, with the date it was checked.
• “Last reviewed” sits at the foot of every content page.
• Event dates are marked Confirmed, Expected or To be confirmed.
• Paid placements are labelled, always.

Advertising and, in some places, affiliate commission. Neither buys a listing, a ranking or protection from a correction. Both are labelled.
